The Results of an Effective Teaching System

"Isaac, Thank you for an excellent three days of golf at Whitehawk Ranch. First off, one thing that made this camp great was that you were concise with your instruction and well-spoken. This made the drills and lessons sink in much quicker. Three things I enjoyed during the course (among many): Make Putting Fun Again: I used to cap my putting practice at 15 minutes because it was so boring. AT GMS, we learned three putting drills with scoring systems that make it fun to compete against someone else or your previous score. Now, I can practice putting for 45-min before looking at the clock. Mental preparation: establishing the practice and playing zone, one-two tempo, and thoughtful driving range reps (alternating clubs). On-course instruction: this helped solidify the lessons in the morning and allowed me to observe great results in such a short amount of practice time. Usually when I learn new techniques or change my swing, I’m left feeling very robotic. GMS teaches techniques that focuses on athleticism to swing the club. Also, in a sport with so many things to think about – its great to learn things I don’t need to focus on. With that being said, it was groundbreaking to learn that “keeping your eye on the ball” is not something that leads to the majority of my misses. Thanks again!"

Prior to GMS, I had never broken 100, struggled with a fast swing tempo, inconsistent contact, frustration with the driver / getting off the tee box, and struggled with knowing which advice to follow and which to ignore. I have been seeing some remarkable improvement in my game, especially within about 50-60 yards of the pin. Before I left Florida, I bought a 56-degree traditional (non-cavity back) Cleveland wedge and that has become my go to club for anything 60 yards or less. Putting has been better and my driving has settled down. Iron play has been crisp with really good contact. Some mis-hits, of course, but overall, I am very happy with how I have been playing. My scores have also improved. I was posting 86-89 before attending GMS. I have posted a 41 (front 9), and two 84's since getting back on my home course."
